Anyone know what the stock scrub radius is on the MCS's?

Does a 45mm offset wheel push it from negative to positive?

Same outer diameter tire. Thanks.

Throw a little kitty litter on the garage floor. park on top of it & turn the wheel back & forth. Mark the outside edges of your contact patch on the floor. Back-up. Need I say more?

 

I'm more interested in knowing the actual numerical value.

Then, I can ballpark the effect of certain wheel offsets, and what the threshold is before the scrub radius turns positive. Thanks.

If you know your offset now & own a ruler, this will be the real data, plus more accurate given the additional squat of the suspension with your weight & added or removed weight. For an example, camber & toe varies alot betweed Minis but they shouldn't. Better than kitty litter. Do it on concrete pavement, roll back & measure off tire.

 

The real data bit makes sense, but I'm not sure how I can interpret the markings as which wheel offsets will begin to create positive scrub radius values.

I'm obviously ignorant of this technique.

And, wouldn't some of the movement you're talking about measuring be associated with the caster? Thanks.
