What is the rest of your setup? You'd need some awfully stiff front springs to get away with this. I raw an 2000 lb VW Rabbit without a front swaybar but it had 2.5 degrees of negative camber up front, 500 lb front 300 lb rear springs and a gigantic rear swaybar.

I would not even think of autocrossing a MINI with no front swaybar with factory camber and suspension.

I'd like to see what has happened if someone tried.

Check out the results from the last Cendiv. Divisional Championship. The top 2 cars one did and one didn't. OasisT won on Sat and Miniwildcat won on Sun. The car with the smaller front bar won overall but the car without wasn't far behind. I think it comes down to the driver and what works for them. I have installed several front bars and also changed 2 back because the driver thought it was too soft. The front bar also works the front tires alot harder.

I have the H-Sport springs and comp rear bar and Webb Camber Plates at full camber. I was also running Avon Tech R 225/45-15 ("was" meaning I now have wire hanging out of them so their history)

I'm just looking to get a little more traction from the inside front wheel while going through sweeping turns while trying to keep the car neutral handling.

I guess you aren't using a LSD. Throttle modulation is the key, if the wheels aren't straight you really have to be easy on the gas.

No LSD. Throttle control is the key for sure. I'm just trying to find a way for a little more hook-up without spending the money for a LSD and the time to put it in.
