He gives them all a fit in the corners, it's on the long straights that he falls flat. Sounds like he's geared too tall. Also he does too much following, doesn't pick his own line to run. And finally, that sure looks like a lot of work!!!

certainly not the fastest car and perhaps not the best driver either but he has quite the selection of race videos on his website. Pretty cool in my opinion... Some cool mini commercials as well...

I wish I could remember who posted “Back by popular demand”, he should get the credit for finding this cool site. Click here: http://www.supercarchallenge.nl/video/Assen-bmwSTW.wmv
for that post it is amazing, looks like the guy is running in the wrong class
Anyway at the end of that amazing run they refer to
http://www.supercarchallenge.nl/
with many, many cool Vids – incidentally I don’t read Dutch but anyone can struggle through.
In amongst the "raceauto’s" I found the Mini site.

Nice you found the videos and the website. The video you can find on my website are from the season 2004. The first year we drove the car. We had a lot of trouble like the horsepower. The Mini did got 30-40 HP less than the rest of de Sport field.
For this year we fitted the Mini with a garret turbo. Took away the compressor and replaced it (lot of work). Last we we first tested it in circuit Zolder (Belgium) and it worked great. We now have 263BHP/285NM.

Here you can find a video with the sound of the new fitted turbo :

For this season I hope everything is going a bit faster, I will place a video after every race, and soon I will create an English part on the website.

The video from the BMW STW is a different story. 3 years ago I placed the camera in the car for testing it. The driver 'Rolf van Os' had to start in the back of the field. After the race we were glad we placed a camera inside the car. I placed the video directly online and now we are still getting great amounts of visitors on our website all because of that crazy video.

I will keep you updated !

Great!

I / We will all be looking for new videos.

Those shots from the Mini were great and give a good feeling for what it’s like to be in a race car. I wish I were there.
Hope the extra horsepower helps from the turbo; some of those cars look like they have greater than 40 more horsepower over you guys. Pushing instead of pulling looks like another advantage the others have as well.
Does that mean the raspy exhaust will go away, too bad.

Good luck with your racing!! and please keep us posted here in the States.
