Gauges For Track?

What are you folks using for gauges on the track? Looking for brands that work well with the mini platform.

Oil pressure, water temp, and AFR are the ones I glance at when I get the chance.

Oil pressure and supercharger boost level are the only aftermarket gauges I added to my R53 for the track. My eyes are almost always up, though, and I rarely see or check them. After the session is over, I can determine maximum boost pressure if I want.

I should've asked my question better...Sorry...Let me rephrase it.

What brand gauges are you guys attaching to your track minis? New to minis. I'm mostly concerned with oil/water

Pro-comp gauges match the stock interior colors extremely well, so I went with them. They seem to be dead on accurate, too.

I use Longacre AccuTech and Auto Meter Sport-Comp II gauges since they have warning lights, so all you have to do is glance to make sure there are no warning lights. The Auto Meter water temp gauge also has peak memory.

I find boost and wideband the most useful

Nice! Thanks. I really like the features on the LongAcres. Pretty sweet set up.

I use a BT ODBII adapter and my phone.

Run the following on the phone app:
Boost
Coolant Temp
Trans Temp (Auto)
Voltage
Intake Temp
Outside Temp

I have an F56 and autocross it.

AUTOMETER boost and oil temp. That's about all I have time to look at while on track. I make sure I have sufficient oil temp before winding up the revs. As for water, I run distilled water with WATTER WETTER and just enough coolant for WP lubrication and to ensure I don't crack a block when at a cold weather event. No one wants to spin in their own "juices", much less be the cause of someone else to spin.

Oil pressure gauge and a big oil pressure idiot light if it drops. Cravenspeed makes a cool adapter that goes in between the oil pressure sensor and the filter housing. It allows you to put in a 1/8 npt to -3 AN fitting for an oil line to the gauge.

To follow up on adding an oil pressure gauge and oil line: i went with an AN-3 line from the gauge mounted on the roll bar thru the engine compartment. The Cravenspeed adapter is great, used a -3 male to 1/8NPT fitting on it for the line to connect to. Couple of things: did not need to jack up the car. Removing the oil filter etc would have given me a better sight line. Spend $7 with Amazon and get the 27mm socket for the sending unit, you’ll need it. I also found a 5” - 6” vanity mirror/round mirror very helpful. It will lay below your housing etc and give you a sight line to thread in the adapter. Use a good liquid auto thread sealer (Permatex or ARP). The electric plug to the sending unit will just have enough line to fit. Took me just under 2 hours but I was taking my time. Get the socket, get the mirror!
This was for a 2003 R50 B-Spec racer.
