15 second car

Yo, i know the MINI is not a drag so dont flame.
What would it take to get a standered cooper running a 14.9 or 15 1/4?

A miracle

Get an MCS rather than spending the money on mods to a regular MC... then youll be doing that time stock.

But why?

But Why not an 'S'? Dollar for dollar, the factory 'S' seems to be a good buy. You get the additional horsepower, you get a better transmission, and more suspension. For relatively few dollars, $140-$400, you could go to a 19% pulley and be right there?

Drop it off a cliff. Or, you could get a nitrous setup, not sure how long your motor will last but you'll definately be able to get at least one sub-15 second run in there.

For one thing, I don't if the turbo kits for the cooper are smog legal. Plus, the turbo puts out about 6psi. Not a whole lot of boost. I wonder how much extra hp and torque the stock tranny will handle. And your warranty, if you have one, is void, after installing one. There are probably more reasons then that but I am sleepy.
