tracking tires recommendations

hi, i have the following wheels and plan to track the car.

Any recommendation on wires?

It's 18 x 7, OEM wheel

and 17 x 7, OEM wheel, R112

Then maybe NM engineering wheels 17 x 7.5

Thanks.

hi, Kyoo, what info would you need?

I got a 2013 JCW hatch, planning to put GP coilovers. and NM strut bar on it.
just want to know what size should i be running?

Would 18 x 7 with 225/45/18 be too big?
or 205/40/18 around is good setup?

I like Bridgestone RE-11 (not RE-11A). Dunlop ZII is also good. Both come in the standard 17" size 205/45-17, the ZII can also be found in 215/45-17 or 215/40-17 which work pretty well. I don't know about 18".

My recommendation - stay away from 18" wheels. Not many tire options and they are heavy.

Go with a nice light 17" wheels. You'll have MANY more tire options. Something like the Enkei Racing PF01 or RPF1. I also like the Kosei K1 TS. All are about 15-16 lbs.

Do you plan to use the tires for track only or as a daily driven tire?

If daily, I'd vote for the new Dunlop ZII Star Spec.

i wouldn't go 18s solely for tire $$ lol. the answer just totally depends on your experience and what you're racing in. i'm doing autox on 16x7s and i run on street tires. depending on your experience, i'd probably leave the suspension totally alone, except maybe run a h-sport rear sway bar on soft, then go from there

Some weekend tracking. Thats about it.
Nothing that competitive yet.

Maybe nm engineering wheels in 17 x 7.5, but not sure yet.
What size would be for those? 215 ?
