help with all the components

hi, for those that track your car, can you help me break down the different components that make up the suspension and handling part?

Trying to get the components and tweak it to make the car neutral.
Also, can you also list your setup as well.

Just to need figure out what all these does relative to the car under stress on the track...
i think most of these stiffens the car, less roll, etc. but is there a specific area that these components will help eliminate certain things.

Free feel to add more since i only know about these..

1. Springs
2. Dampers
3. Front sway bar
4. Rear sway bar
5. Strut bar
6. Bushing
7. Tires - Grip
8. 17 vs 18 rims, weight saving?

Most important item...
The driver....
Start as is IMO...then as the car starts to limit you as YOUR skills improve... You can tweak it..
Talking to folks at events, they will suggest changes.
Some items, like camber plates, inteact with other items like rear sway bar.... Resulting needed a smaller one than if you do not run camber plates....

ZippyNH, thanks for the advice.
I plan to do that first.. but i want to understand what those do as to be more aware of why the car is doing what it's doing... while in the meantime driving as stock as possible before getting all the components put in and tweaking it... it's like the movie... days of thunder... where tom cruise says.. he doesn't have the vocab... haha.. but at least in the movie he can drive.. me on the other hand... not quite sure yet...

thanks for any input..
