I have hotel reservations for Austin next year, but Im not so confident this will happen.

 

RaceTripper....what was the rate you got for your reservation? Curious...

 

$107/night, at the Country Inn in Round Rock (about 20 miles from track).

 

Ahhh, not bad I'd say.

I use to pay $70/night 1hour from Indy. A bit of a drive but no way was i paying the rates close by.

 

We used to pay around $100/night for Indy. My wife's uncle lived there so we stayed free the first couple years we went.

The Hoosier BMW club used to put on the most awesome car corral for the Indy USGP. I've never seen anything nearly as good since then at any race.

 

Looks like the Texas F1 race is back on. They best be gettin a move on with that building!
