I currently have a Rogue airbox, Madness pulley and Magnaflow exhaust. For X-mas I've got an H-Sport package on the way that includes springs, front/rear competition sway bars, front camber plates, rear control arms and strut tower brace.

What SCCA class will I be in?
If it's street mod can I put on any wheel/tire combination that I want?

Thanks for any help,

Gene

You can not change pulley and stay in STX. SM it is.

SM, yep!

And if you add an LSD you go to SP.

But if you don't pulley and go STX you can install an LSD. That makes a lot of sense.

This is helpful to me:

Actually if you run smaller pulley you aren't eligable for Street Prepared classes. If you add an LSD (and don't have the pulley) you can generally run STX. If you have the pulley (with or without other mods) you are in SM. I believe that even if you add the LSD to a "pullied" car that you are still eligable in SM. For me the big difference was running STX or DSP(I don't have a pulley)...the decision was based on the cost of R-compound tires to run competitively versus Kumho or Falken street tires for STX. I ended up in STX based on this (but still wasn't competitive  ). Besides I didn't want to go to DSP and get beat down by one of my friends, David Fauth - current DSP National Champion

Are you planning on putting the package in yourself or are you paying to get it done? My roommate and I just put that package in and can give you some tips on what to avoid. also use Randy's How to it helped sooo much. Front took about 2-days (5 hrs Sat 4hrs Sun) with 2 people, 1 had experience doing packages for Mustangs other( me) no experience. It was an SOB to put in. Rear took about 2 hrs really easy. ( didn't put control arms though still back ordered from H-sport its been about 2 mos) So if your inexperienced and are putting it in. I'll give advice on what to avoid

Grendel,

Thanks for the offer, but I'mway too non-mechanical for that.

I would be interested in your impressions of the package and what settings you use for the street, track, etc.

I finally got to test the sport kit out. There is so much more control to it the difference is amazing. I took her to the track about 2 mos ago and took a performance driving course and loved it. I want to do more so thats why I installed the kit. I haven't taken to the track since. I like you am doing it for fun and performance....I won't be winning or entering races any time soon. but I will be using it for track days. so far the settings is middle rear and far front.

Iunderstand you can't go into the class with an aftermarket pulley... but where would a factory ordered
S with a JCW kit be put?
