Mini Enthousists. The 2003 SCCA National Championships are going to be aired on Speed starting 11/15. The Minis will be racing in the GT5 class. The race will be televised on Dec.6,2003 at 12:00 EST. Some of you might not know the results so lets just say that the worlds favorite car did very well. Mini USA put up a substantial contingency award for the SCCA this season and is hoping to do more next year.Check out the race and don't miss the last lap.

 

I was there and the GT5 race was a blast. So was G-Production and a number of others. I thought the first airing was this Sat. (11/22/03) at noon EST. Also ALL the RunOff races will be aired again on Christmas day. Boy does that pi-- my wife off

 

Was GT-4 and GT-5 combined this year or was the change for next season?

 

Brad Davis in his MC will be on 11/22/03 @ 1pm est (i think) in SSC. The only MINI in the class, being that it's way underpowered for that class... Big spin on the first lap. Don't know if it was caught on tape.

Since the MCS has FINALLY been classed for '04, He'll be in SSB next year, driving one of the red S's from the new Italian Job movie. As soon as he gets the paint scheme done, I'll post some pics.

crap i missed it! will it come on again? sometimes speed replays it. if anyone knows how the MINI did let me know cuss like i said I MISSED IT!

Joe Huffaker in his black #77 Mini blasted out into the lead with Doug Peterson in the #11 Fortech Mini close behind. After a few laps Huffaker's Mini broke a throttle cable and Doug's Fortech Mini dusted everyone and took 1st place in GT-5 class.
