(For starters, no we're not rallying a MINI. )

So our rally team is out of money. We've got a major event coming up in June. However, without sponsorship, my friend who basically heads the team is paying for everything out of pocket. With all sorts of costs climbing, and the fact that RallyAmerica now requires you to run with a HANS device which is a $700 head-restraint unit, we don't see how we'll be able to make it to the event that we desperately need to run.

My question is, does anyone have or know of anyone who has one of these devices that we can borrow for one race? My friend is located in PA near the NJ border.

 

You have the mounting hardware on your helmet? I've got one, when are you needing it?

 

The weekend would be June 6-7, Susquehannock Trail Pro Rally. I will ask him the best way to reach him, so you can talk to him directly about the hardware- he knows more about it than I do.

 

OK his answer was "My helmet is pre-drilled and I can pickup the posts locally." I'll PM you with his email or phone.

 

I'll have to check my schedule I might have a NASA event that weekend.
