I just had my first race track experience this past Memorial Day. It was at Grattan Race Course near Grand Rapids, MI. This is the annual Alfa Romeo Club Race held the same time and place. It is a great opportunity to learn how to run you favorite car and learn what it can do. I am hooked. So was my MCS. This car, stock, is a great performer out of the box. The only mods that I have done are the exhaust (NRP) and a drop in K&N. I reached past 110 on the 1/4 mile straight away. This course is beautiful. Very twisty with a lot of blind turns. I would recommend driving your MINI on a track to really enjoy the spirit of this great car.
