The 10-day forecast for Fontana (which, of course, is completely useless) shows Sunny, high of 70F, low of 41F on Friday, November 2nd...

I think about 20 pages ago in this thread I was talking about being the "axe man" at hog killins when I was a boy.. or not... but, anyway, nothin' like fresh hot cracklins at hog killins on the first of January. Hunks of pig fat. Fried in lard. MMMMMM....

Unlike most folks, I REALLY know where bacon comes from. And I LIKE it.

Yeah, I got the Frau to try Pork Rinds and she thought they were tasty... until I explained to her that YES, that's what they REALLY are She hasn't touched one since

For all you pork rind naysayers, just try them. Low in fat, carbs, all that bad stufff, but a good snack to watch a ballgame with..... My dad used to make a meal out of pork skins and beer.
