JCW Countryman Exhaust Tips

I was looking at the exhaust tips the other day and noticed that they were not even welded or attached. They are just part of the rear bumper? Is this not strange?

The reason this is built this way is to keep you from burning your leg. As the exhaust flows from the pipe it draws and mixes with cool air in the bumper mounted tip. The tip stays cooler if you hit your leg on it and the exhaust won't burn you.

I was surprised that my job as a counterman didn't last longer. I once overheard my boss telling someone that I was the most counter-productive worker he ever hired...
(Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

Lol, you title says counterman instead of countryman.

I like the tips like that, makes it easier to plasti dip them black and it won't burn off or melt the dip.
