What you may be seeing is the temporary overboost. That does NOT change the power rating, but it does increase the torque a bit. For the Gen 2 S models, the boost from the factory is set at 13psi. Overboost adds about 2psi. Gen 2 fJCWs run at 19psi boost plus the 2psi overboost under the right circumstances. The thing is, MINI always includes horsepower and torque ratings in their literature. Do you think if they had more power they would miss a chance to advertise it?
