Performance Sway Bar Kit (ST Suspensions)

Hi folks,

Has anyone purchased and installed the performance sway bar kit (front and rear) by ST Suspensions?

https://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2013-...Bar/ES2816983/

I have a R56 fJCW with sports suspension and would like to reduce the body roll of the vehicle for spirited driving. The kit seems to be pretty affordable (compare to NM Engineering) and I am wondering if there's anything I need to look out for? Thanks for your feedback.

Cheers,
R

Body roll is a combination of multiple things - spring rates, shocks, and swaybar. If you want to make the car corner flat then you'll have to address all three.

Going to a stiffer RSB will help reduce understeer, there is a lot of debate about whether a stiffer FSB is a good or bad thing.

From my experience, I'd say upgrade to a 22mm RSB, leave the front bar stock, and get some camber plates and rear lower control arms. Then get an alignment for increased camber all around.
