Aftermarket rear Swaybar

I remember some threads a year or more ago, dealing with noise coming from the bushings on aftermarket sway bars. One of the suggested remedies to eliminate excessive noise was to apply some sort of tape between the bar and the bushings. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,

We use the Hsport or TSW bars and don't have this issue. I have seen it on many other brands and usually I just upgrade the bushings and brackets and that fixes it. But I have heard that customers in colder climates have wrapped the bar in teflon tape then greased the bushings and that would keep it quiet.

Whiteline sway bars usually use their greaseless technology bushings, which we sell (basically has a Teflon coating inside the bushing). Otherwise just regreasing the bushings on your current set up should solve the issue. Just find a good grease that doesn't break down under water very easily, like Schaeffer's Oil products.

Whiteline sway bar: part # wlBMR72Z

but you could just buy the bushings that have their greaseless technology and replace them with your current ones and call it a day!
