Does changing the panel filter on the fJCW to a higher flowing one yield any sound benefit over the stock paper filter?

Lookng to change mine purely for sound, don't really want to have a cai in the engine bay as I want to keep it original.

 

I didn't notice any changes in sound with an aftermarket panel filter in the fJCW airbox.
