Overheating issue...

Hey guys, loaded a stage 1 tune (for stock car) from a recently purchased AP Friday night and went for a short drive... totally changed my car! Loved it! Drove to work this morning... about 12 miles, no traffic and pull into work just as an overheat warning pops up. Anyone else had this? Should I redirect to AP thread? The coolant reservoir was at the minimum mark...

Did it throw any codess? You need to see if you have any coolant leaks. One common problem is the thermostat housing. Check in the oil also.

Hey, thanks for responding... I actually thought I cancelled this post because my app told me that it was a repeat thread. Haha Anyway, no codes, it just said to drive a bit to cool it down... I went about 1/8 mile before it said to turn the car off and let it cool. It's never done this before & wasn't sure where to start. I'll check the stuff you mentioned. Thanks!

Upon closer inspection on lunch break, there appears to be a bit of coolant on top of the transmission... Can't see where it came from, though. Ideas? Thanks in advance...

That would most likely be from the thermostat housing.

Went ahead and took it to the dealer... They confirmed that it was, in fact, the thermostat housing. Good call Braminator... Hopefully will have it back for the weekend, but we'll see. Thanks again for chiming in~
