Run flats

I have a 2011 JCW and the first thing that I did was get rid of run flats. The ride is so much better as well as road noise is virtually gone. Then I dot rid of the wheels. Actually I just saved the wheels for my Winter Tires. The wheels that I went for are Motegis, 16 lbs, a weight savings of over 7 lbs per wheel, plus the savings from switching out of the run flats.

Just my opinion.

I have the JCW stage 1 kit and from what I have read about intakes the JCW box factory or stage 1 is pretty much the best intake for the price. Has warranty and puts on great power ( compared to stock ) I just dropped in a K&N style filter ( $100-ish? ) Way better than paying $50 for new crap tastic paper filter every oil change or so, just clean my new one and will last a long time. I have NM torque arm bushing, was great cheap 20 min mod and plan on doing resonator delete today after work! I'll try and upload before and after videos. But so far I love my stage 1 jcw. DO WANT BOV SOUND THOUGH!!!!

Good luck mod hunting. Please Let us know what you end up doing!

I have NM lowering springs and Koni yellows on my JCW. Really like the feel and stance. Very comfortable ride.

Also I had a aftermarket CAI system on my car but switched back to the OEM JCW airbox and really haven't notice any loss because of it. I have no intention putting my car on a Dyno to prove/disprove performance claims of CAI. One difference is without the CAI, I don't get to hear the woosh of the BOV.
