Rotors and brakes. Track set up only.

-My rear rotors are done. They have a fissure that goes through the entire disk on the left. Pretty impressive since I only have 29K miles.
Either way due to this I wanted to buy non MINI rotors. I track it and use the brakes fairly aggressively.
For the rears I have XP8 (track) and just got Bobcats.
Having major issues trying to find non MINI rotors.
Pelican has them: 280 mm.
No one else seems to have them. They are different than the "S" (those are 259 mm). Tons of websites have them the same for our JCW than the S which is wrong, believe me I tried.

I track the car, so I would use slotted, but obviously I won't use cross drilled.
Anyone else?

-For the front rotors, there are more options, EBC's, powerslots, etc...
Any good recs?

-I've had some issues with uneven pad transfer at the end of the stint which causes bad vibrations on hard braking with the XP10's. Could try XP12's. I otherwise like the Carbotech's a lot, but now that I'm going faster they seem to be heating up too much. Has anyone used Cobalts? Which compound?
I have used PFC-01's on the race car and I absolutely LOVE them, but none for mini. Also, they are a little hard on rotors.

PS: I change pads at the track, so I don't care how loud or dusty they are.

Since the post is in the Gen2 JCW forum, I would guess R56 JCW.

Yeah I guess so.

If you're not using brake coolers you need to go to XP12s. With brake coolers you should be able to use 10s

We have had good luck with the Powerslot rotors.

It is a R56 JCW Mini. I have the JCW "ducts", which I know don't do much. I have looked at the ones you offer, but those are for R53's. I will try the XP12's next time, or maybe those Cobalts.
As far as the Powerslot's, I think I'll get those for the front (those or EBC sports). They don't make them for the rear yet, so I might have to crack another set of stocks!

Our wheel brackets fit the R56 and R53. We just haven't had an aero bumper car here to finish the R56 kit. You could get the brackets and a stick of hose and put it together. All Sneedspeed brake cooling is on sell this week 15% off with "Brakekit" coupon code.
The brackets you need are here http://www.sneed4speed.com/sneedspee...i-r53-and-r56/
And hose here http://www.sneed4speed.com/3-silicon...e-cooler-hose/
