JCW durability

I just bought a 2009 Mellow Yellow JCW hardtop this past weekend with 3700 miles on it. I know the typical issues that can be present in the mini coopers but i was just wondering how well they hold up under aggressive driving? I know they have beefed up drivetrain components but will that provide longterm reliability/durability? Im not an aggressive driver, but occasionally i will get on it and i would like to try auto-x perhaps. Will occasional spirited driving severely reduce the life of the components or the car? Thanks

The answer is yes and no...

Like other sporty cars, the JCW can be driven in a 'spirited' fashion without too much concern of damage to most vehicle components (e.g., suspension). But you will eat into the life expectancy of wear items (brakes, tires, clutch) as you increase the frequency of these 'spirited' exploits, particularly in events such as autocross.

So, just keep in mind that you might have to replace brakes or tires sooner as you drive more aggressively, and motor on!
