DoS CAI Baffle or Inlet Cover?
DoS CAI Baffle or Inlet Cover?
Before I purchase a CAI baffle or inlet cover to help eliminate the noise level.....
what are your thoughts on these add-on's?
Would these make the DoS CAI worse than the stock intake? Same, better?
In theory it just seems that these add-on's would just eliminate or minimize cold air coming from the cowling.... but the hot air or normal air from the front of the engine would still be getting in.
So in this thought process .... would the JCW stock panel filter be better than a K&N oiled cone filter.
I like the LOOK of the DoS filter better.... but I prefer function of looks.
I do like that on track days... I could remove the baffle or inlet cover and deal with the noise for hopefully better performance.
Please post your thoughts and experiences with these add-on's .
