'11 JCW Hatch: Resonator removal questions

I love my JCW. Would like the exhaust more pronounced: more pops/burbles and a little more aggressive. Would appreciate comments on good idea or not to remove the resonator. Sound clips appreciated. Cost to have done at a muffler shop/ does it bother the ecu/ and any warranty issues with MINI? Thanks. Nick

You can remove the resonator; it's up to you.
If you Google-search for R56 / R55 JCW resonator delete, you'll find alot of videos of both in-car and fly-by sounds.

Cost is cheap since it's two cuts and install a same length / bend-direction pipe.

No, removing the resonator does not affect the ECU; warranty of the exhaust would be compromised with the modification.
