Hi guys, I'm new to this site but been reading along. I'm thinking about ordering JCW sales person just told me that Mini is having this great deal on JCW Aero Kit + wheel as a factory option at $2000. Bad news is you can only get them on S not JCW. That's kinda stupid and doesn't make sense at all, he said he does't understand either. Anybody heard about this? This is ridiculous if it's true

 

I can't speak to the S vs JCW piece but be sure you understand what the Aero kit is versus the JCW body kit. The Aero kit was discontinued a few months back and has a different look to it than the JCW kit.

The "John Cooper Works Package" has been available for a few weeks now. MINI anounced this last month.

MINI Cooper Hartop $2500, includes JCW doorsills, dynamic traction control, JCW aero kit, JCW interior accents, 17" R112 Challenge Spokes

MINI Cooper S Hardtop $2000 (same items as above)

MINI JCW Hardtop - It was announced that the JCW Aero kit would be available from the factory for the JCW as part of these changes, but it is not yet on the configurator. I believe someone posted earlier here that the price is $1500, or thereabout.

No word yet on the Clubman or Convertible models, but I would expect that they will be offered soon, if not already.

 

Any idea what the interior accents are?
