Hi everyone, I posted this in how to electrical area, but didn't get any traction.

I just bought a Passport QI45 remote radar detector. I'm a V1 user of many years, but now running an R57, I don't want anything in the cabin that will temt someone to cut the top to steal it. (and removing and hanging twice per day is not an option).

So without firing up a this radar detector is better than that, can someone please help on where I can locate the antenna? Looking through the air intake, there is very little room between the radiator and the slats. In fact not enough. The same holds true for the intercooler area. I'm at a loss.

Minimally, can someone please share instructions for taking off the grill and lower bumper cover so I can try and fit it on my own? I'll post back the results for all to use later.
