so after months of driving my wife crazy flip flopping over what mini to get next... I am now the proud owner of a brand new 2011 JCW cooper black on black

with having 4 months left on my lease and having no intention of buying a new vehicle yesterday...

I was offered a deal I could not refuse and am now getting to know Ninja 2.0

Yeah man, nice car. As the ALL4 Countrymans are nice, I still like my 09MCS better.

Nice!!

I went to check out the Countryman all4 yesterday at my local dealer. I wasn't impressed at all. IMO it's really ugly.

Very nice. Love to see the interior pics and the stripes. Pretty close to my car which just hit CA yesterday. Why did you swap out the exhaust already. Was the stock JCW exhaust to quite?

"and having no intention of buying a new vehicle yesterday"???

What sort of deal was that?

And how was the Countryman test drive?

Apparently no deals on the Countryman.

And yes the Countryman is a MINI? It's got the MINI badges, doesn't it?

Enjoy your JCW.

Well I had no intention on that day but had been planning on buying another mini when the lease on my 08' clubman was up in May. So the real part that drew me into the deal was that they were willing to buy out the rest of my lease that day. After talking over the numbers a bit more and few free bees the deal was done!

The Countryman just wasn't for me. I had high hopes for it and had been some what obsessing over it for the past few months. The dealer only had an Automatic S to test drive and it was just a complete pooper in my opinion... and I don't think the manual would have been enough to make it work for me. I just enjoy driving too much, and the bigger/higher feel in the countryman just wasn't what I was looking for.

My wife is happy to not have me asking her everyday what type of mini to get anymore... little does she know she is now going to have to endure my next obsession ... mods!

What color stripes are you planning on doing and what kind? Also are those the full leather seats? They do not look like the pleather ones.

very nice , can I ask how much was the JCW?
I might have to be a R56 convert sometime in the future and a car like yours would fit the bill.

Still not sure...leaning towards matte black stripes. Yes those are the lounge leather seats. So nice!

I agree with black stripes (the ones that reflect light at night). I think blacking out the belt line, the trim rings around the lights, the door handles, the grille surround, & the gas cap would look good too. How about a red stripe around the outer rim of the black wheels?

That is what I want so, I would like to see how it looked before doing it myself.

Did I miss something? I see no mention of an exhaust change?

Correct I've not changed the exhaust and don't think I will... The jcw exhaust sounds great and from what I've read it is only going to get better!

Dez, thanks for sharing the interior pics… that's the first ones I've seen of the Championship Leather… Cap'n Jack will be almost a carbon copy except for being a Clubbie
