Different JCW factory exhaust p/n for cars built May 2010 and after?

Just picked up a new 2010 R57 MCSCa last week. Love it! Was about to pull the trigger on a JCW factory (not stage 1) exhaust. Was about to buy the full exhaust (the rear section, the mid-pipe, and the clamp) but was notified by Morristown Mini (NJ) that the computer shows that for cars built May 2010 and after, the exhaust has a different p/n, and that it isn't available yet. The parts guy didn't specify whether the different p/n was for the rear section, the mid-pipe, or both.

Can someone here please clarify?

I don't know for sure but would only make sense to me that it could be easily retrofitted to make it work. There simply can't be that much difference in between the '09 and '10 exhaust.

I'll bet it has something to do with the exhaust tips.

Is April/May 2010 around the cutoff for model years 2009 and 2010?

FYI: found out that the new part number is 18 30 7 612 477. This applies to both 2010 hardtop and convertible JCWs. It's for the rear section only. The mid-pipes have the same number. I'm thinking the difference is the look of the tips as well.

Will be ordering the new part, but it's not even available in Germany until next week.

It'd be great if someone with a brand new JCW (build date May 2010 and up) could post a picture of their exhaust.
