I really like custom stripes that are painted on. Not decals like a model kit....no disrespect to anyone. So for me it's no stripes for now.

 

True, painted stripes are very nice. But if you ever want to change the look... . Vinyl is easy to remove and replace, and much less $$$.

 

vinyl is acceptable, and most stripes will last at least 5 yrs or so. depending on brand of vinyl of course.
i had no choice but to paint mine on. I do like them better painted as well.

 

Oh I guess I really don't mind, just if I ever did stripes they would have to be painted and unique. I do like the Van Halen trick and the JCW custom stripes. Also one of the coolest is the shredding stripes showing carbon fiber paint job.
