Ok I have a brand new JCW car and as I have been looking at parts and such I noticed it didnt come with certain JCW performance parts. For Example...

The Intake isnt the JCW intake. The box on the factory JCW is different as well as the filter and the intake pipe.

2nd I noticed my exhaust is differnt then the JCW exhaust you can buy as a dealer option ... mine doesnt have the JCW logo stamped on the tips and my tips seem smaller then the ones on saw on cars at AMVIV.

3rd there are no strut bars so I guess those are extra ...

can anyone tell me the differences between the JCW Exhaust that comes on the JCW Factory car vs the JCW Exhaust on the stage 1 kit? Is it just the tips?

 

We JCW purchasers were screwed out of the uprated Stage 1 Intake. We go the smaller stock airbox & paper airfilter.

I believere the JCW Factory car has a larger TBE. I believe the CBE is slightly larger too but don't hold me to that. I do know the TBE is larger. Check out Alta's photographically annotated analysis of their car, perhaps a few pages back now in this forum section. Our Tips on the factory car are definitely nicer () I once had a guy stop me in a parking lot about the exhaust a few months after owning the car) tho they don't have any JCW branding on them.

 

SO we actually have a better exhaust? as in its larger?

 

Does anybody know where to get the JCW Rigid Intake Pipe to fit an R56?

How much did you pay? I suspose it's quite a bit cheaper than the JCW CAI?
