Remove my resonator?

Remove my resonator?
Anybody removed the resonator and repaced with straight through tube? I have a 09 JCW, and thought it might add a little more of that wonderful popping and burbling. Any thoughts?

I was thinking of doing this, but i'm not sure if it will make it any louder or better sounding, i reckon it'll just make it drone more.
I'm saving my dough to replace the cats with race cats, i think that will make it sound like the challenge cars...
