me too. I get some pops and cracks that sound like gunfire.

you should only be hearing the pop's and burble during "off throttle" situations, if you hear it during acceleration, you have issues

That's how I did it. While still under 10 miles on the ODO I did a some nearly full throttle accelerations in higher than normal gears to build up lots of compression on the pistons.
