JCW wheels and spacer question
JCW wheels and spacer question
OK, so I am in quite a little dilemma. I purchased some JCW R109 wheels for 2009 JCW Mini Hardtop and went to have them installed today, and what do you know; they don't fit! When I purchased the wheels from Mini, they did not warn me that I would need spacers in order for them to work with my JCW.
Any suggestions about spacers for my car? What size spacers and bolts will I need? The wheels look great; I'm sure they'll look even better if I can ever get them on the car. Help please! thanks in advance.

I've used Rogue Engineering spacers in the past with no issues (on a BMW). They come with the replacement wheel bolts, which MUST be used. Can't say exactly what size you will need. Hopefully 5MM would be sufficient, but that is just a guess.
Here is a recent post about compatible wheels for the factory JCW: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...1&postcount=25

Wheel help 5 lugs 8.5"
HI, I m new here and I need help, my english is not very good so I m sorry for that.
For a JCW 08/09
I founded the wheels of my dream, but they are 5 lugs any body know how can i use an adapter and how good the adapter would be?
the wheels are this: Front 18x7 +48 and tires 235/35 18
for rear they are 18x8.5 +48, but I founded a company that will custom them for me to 7.5" for $150 each so I m ok with that, the tires I want 225/35 18
I think this would be ok but the big question is that they are 5 lugs.
