Any disadvantages with the JB+ long-term? Engine life, etc..?

 

The Mini Club in Dallas is a joke. Full of grey hair fatties who sit around on a Sunday staring at their Minis in a parking lot on their way to a pizza joint. And that's their idea of driving. Most of them put more time into fetishizing their car than driving them. hahaha

Hey malibujoey, thanks for the comments. I just hate chrome, should be banned haha I'd thought of doing the grill black but thought I'd test the red, its just plastidip so can swap around if I so feel the need, was also considering doing the light surrounds etc that I'd done in black, in red but thought it might make it look more girly, already get enough stick about owning a mini as it is, if only they knew how great a little car it is.

With every mini, its each to their own, my last one got criticism as well for similar mods, but so far both minis have won awards and I love the look so am happy with it. I know the black is adding another colour into the mix but I like it standing out now rather than colour coding kind of route, would only ever do that with a totally black car, stealth look ftw haha

 

 

 

I'd be more tempted to go along the lines of 13WSCRJCW's from the previous page, more racey and doesn't look girly to me, I'd like it to stand out more than a stock mini, always been a fan of the viper stripes over the other style further apart stripes, could never remove them thats just not on the table haha. I'm in Northern Ireland, not quite as scenic as the Ireland I'm sure you're imagining but there are some fantastic roads nonetheless and not too many other JCWs around
