Like I said, our dealer just sold one for 42K.... I can't imagine paying a 10K markup from the dealer...that's just ridiculous.

Oh K! WHY is there a $10K markup? Is this some kind of ultra rare limited edition?

Ouch

Could have gotten the JCW suspension and the JCW areo kit for that AMV. Is that for for real??? They are discounting the MINIs here in Philly these days.

I know, that price is unrealistic, but then again this is South Florida.
I was passed today by a California on one side and a DB9 on the other,at the same time.I guess they're betting on a millionaire who likes Minis and wants one for track weekends.
Interestingly, they have a nicely equipped PW/B JCW with aerokit for 34k,and their willing to negotiate as it's been in their lot for 5 months.

As long as you are happy

If you are happy with it that's all that counts. It's a beautiful car, and I'm sure it's a blast to drive.

I'm sorry, but even by South Florida standards, there is no way to justify a $10K markup on a Mini.

I can't see a reason why and I was an accountant for 15 yrs.

Actually, being an acct doesn't make you the best judge then, does it?

I know how it is with you bean counters, it's black and white, if it's not economically justified, it's not worth it....

Welcome to minis... or cars in general. If the extra 10K puts a smile on his face, it was worth every penny.

I was actually thinking more in the lines of supply and demand. Considering the '11s are but a few weeks away and Mini sales are down for July, the AMP shouldnt even be a factor.

Now, if he's happy... more power to him. Congrats

ORRRRRR! Who knows, maybe he had an extra $10K to pee away...

Thanks! Yes it's BRG

I found a WC50 a few blocks away from my home, I'm going to try and get a photo of our cars side-by-side for a colour comparison. The WC50's Connaught Green is quite dark, looks black from a distance.

Ordered on 9-2 and it was delivered the first part of November. I don't want delivery, well actually I do, but the timing is better if I receive it in November. Lease on the Miata and all. And, yes I know that I could just turn it in early, but I won't.

I'm still up in the air about the color, I would really like to see the Silver/white in person. But in saying that, I got on the MiniUK site, and configured out a JCW in the BRG ll with the Red Roof. I never thought that I'd like green, but that really gets to me. Plus, there just might be all that many BRG ll with Red out there next year. It, just has that European look. Maybe I'm crazy.
Sorry it has taken me so long to answer, but I just saw this.
My car took about 3.weeks longer than was supposed too. I had some accessories installed @ the port, that held the car up. I know some people that have had there cars go into production a few days after placing there order. So I would say work with your dealer on timing, and have your accessories installed at the dealer.
Ron

Pricing has finally come out and it appears that the MiniS guys aren't too happy. $700. increase, that with the FREE HD radio, and Sirius with one year subscription, both were $500 options last year. Guess that they are ticked off on account of the JCW only went up $300. Of course in my opinion, it shouldn't have gone up at all, but I can live with a $300. increase. Shucks, that's a one per cent increase, of coure the MiniS is a 2 1/2% increase. If you haven't heard the JCW hardtop has a base of $29,800. Cab's up to $35,000, and I can't remember the Clubman.

Nobody needs HD radio. And my 2009 came with lifetime SIRIUS. If its an issue, do a better job haggling with the dealer to make the added cost a non-issue.

Onefish: The HD radio is included this year as is the Sirius, but only with a one year subscription. I've never heard of a lifetime subscription before.
