So lets be honest here and tell us how much did your JCW09 cost. Our was 42k after all taxes and fees (and this is NY so no plus MSRP).
I should say our ride will have, leather punch carbon black seats, premium package, xenon lights, fog lights, JCW Aero Kit, Hi-Fi sound system with Sirius, Cold Weather Package...I must be missing something but anyways I am quite shocked that we are going to pay this much for a Mini. My wife loves it so I am really happy.
I decided to look back at how much money I have already put into our R53 and to tell you the truth I come up with about 39k on that guy!
Anyways all good, we are fortunate to be able to afford this things but I have to say, minutes before agreeing to go ahead with the build up I almost walked back to the BMW wing of the dealership and went for a 135 or 335!!
The truth is my wife doesnt like me to have cars that are flashy anymore so we thought a nice JCW will blend just fine but still deliver the goods.
So, how much for your JCW09? Is this a fair question to ask or am I entering a touchy territory here?

$36710, incl. tax and registration. Paying MSRP and no prep or other dealer fees (normally they charge $500). Dealer is throwing in JCW checkered mats.

I'm getting:
CR/W JCW hardtop
Rooster Red Leather/Cloth
CW package
Xenon, white lamps, rear fogs
Convenience/comfort package
Auto A/C
Driving lamps

Oh yes the floor mats! We got those as well. I have to say, I think the big cost has to be the JCW Aero Kit. (2500 aprox)
Now that I think about this, there must be a 47k plus build out there through out the JCW carbon fiber lovers right?

I was about 37 after tax and license. I kept it pretty base, comfort, sport susp, hifi, and xenon, and they threw in floor mats and wheel locks .

My launch car was $36 and some change.

My ordered car is VERY basic and will be about $32 with body kit, xenons and MFSW as the only options.

Mine was about $35K or so and that is loaded with all of the packages, including navigation. We get a good deal in the military overseas! One of the best parts is no taxes if you own the car for 6 months overseas before you ship it back to the states. I picked it up about 2 weeks ago. I guess it is time to change my sig!

Loesches thats a great deal!
Adam, thats the smart choice especially for a track guy like you. I guess that when you add some additional comfort you pay dearly for it.

Zero7 meets Traxher

Ahhh finally here, I got the call that Traxher was being unloaded, It's been at the port for almost a month, I order the body at the port, but the port install parts has been a little slower than normal since the entry is gone south the GA vs. SC... Anyway is here and I can't wait to get it home, Zero7 was cool about it, I didn't notice any jelousy, he is a well behaved works MINI.

that is funny.

I think zero7 looks tougher w/ black wheels and a lower ride height. he's not intimidated by the new JCW.

congrats on the new car!

Thank you, the OEM wheels were on for about 15 hours while waiting to get programmed and set for clean up, Greg my tech put the sport suspension, eibach springs, minspeed 19mm swaybar, forge intercooler tube and changed the old JCW door sills which came with the body kit for the new logo with the all caps lettering and the JCW 18' R-113's with Nittos

Yep it was a big toss up between this combo and a full on MY, like the M7 MINI which looks candela! but I went for easy to keep clean or better yet easy to keep not washing as much...

Day One

Day Two

Finish for the day for now....

...To be continue

BRG/Black JCW ON ORDER!

Pretty new to posting here guys although I have been reading for some time. I guess it just didn't feel right until I had my own MINI at least on order and now the time has come. I'm an MA over at Prestige in Mahwah, NJ and when I drove that JCW for the first time (even though the Cooper S already had me convinced, just waiting for my lease to end) my mind was made up. I would be more than happy to contribute as much insider info as I possibly can without putting my job at risk (LOL). Ok so here it is, let me know what you guys think. I have definitely had some mixed reviews on my color/interior choices but what can I say, I fell in love with BRG & redwood red.

BRG/Black
Redwood Red
Xenons
Nav
Smartphone Prep(have iphone)
Factory Aero Kit (love those painted arches)
Black Sport Stripes
Plan on powdercoating wheels black & JCW Front Grill Kit
Maybe JCW Suspension

Welcome BigMini!

As stated on the first post, insiders are ALWAYS welcome.

Very nice operation you guys run there. I was very happy purchasing my MINI from your shop.

No convenience group? I think that is a very worthwhile option. Nothing like walking up to the car, having it unlock automatically, sit down, then press the start button all WITHOUT fishing around your pocket for the huge key fob. It sounds stupid I know but going from my MINI to a "regular" car irritates me as I have to fish around for the damn key then look for the start button then realize I have to put a key in somewhere. The convenience group really is convenient.

Oh and make sure you ask about floor mats, it appears that Prestige doesn't give you floor mats

Haha, I have been lobbying for a long time to get that changed but there is only so much I can do. Thanks for the welcome. I guess convenience is nice to have but not a necessity. My JCW is already over 38K so I guess I had to sacrifice somewhere.

BigMiniAl, very nice and welcome. I take it you got the sunroof, you could save a bunch of weight and $$, then get the convenience group.

I know what you mean, the Laser blue JCW picked up on Tuesday is pretty bare bones, no convenience group, no auto air conditioning, no sunroof, no navigation, etc. It makes for a lighter and more trackable JCW.

Enjoy your JCW and pictures when you get it.

Don

Thanks for the welcome guys! Actually no sunroof on my order even though with the hours that I work I cannot see myself having any time to track this car in the near future. I just am not a fan of the MINI sunroof. Hate the screens and love the anthracite headliner. I guess I should have been been more specific with my order as I can see most of the people on this forum are into details. OK here it is:

'09 JCW HT
BRG/Black
Redwood Red/Piano Black
Factory Aero Kit w/ painted arches
White Turn Signals
Xenons
Rear Fogs
Factory Nav
Comfort Bluetooth/Ipod
Smartphone Adapter
Cold Weather Package
No Sunroof

Also planning on adding black sport stripes, jcw mesh side scuttles, jcw suspension, maybe jcw spoiler, m7 strut brace, stubby antenna, powder coating challenge spokes black and definitely replacing the run flats with a nice performance tire.

Glad to see there are other MA's here. Is there a thread for MA's? If not, someone should start one.
