Q: Paddle Shift on Countryman S E F60?

All,
Was paddle shift an available option on the 2018 F60 Countryman SE? Or, has anyone retrofitted these to one successfully?
RealOEM doesn't show this as a variation for the SE model. Wiring diagrams do show it in the F60 SE diagrams. https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...sor/1VnXnbbTNo
TIA.

Have you checked the coding options to see if you can code the sport automatic transmission for the SE? IIRC, that was a requirement for the paddle shifters.

Thanks for the reply...
I have not yet, but the VIN lookup states the trans is: STEPTRONIC Automatic, 3.944 Axle Ratio.
The floor mounted shift has a M/S position to the left of D.
Sport or not?
TIA

The SE does not have the Sport Automatic from the factory. It usually can be coded for vehicles that have the option. The reason I ask if you have the option to code it in for your car is pretty much every vehicle that has paddle shifters has the Sport Automatic option. If the SE doesn't even have the option for it, then I doubt the paddle shifters would work since you wouldn't be able to code the car for them to work.

You called it...

I spoke with a dealer and gave them my VIN, asking if it had, or there is an option for, a sport trans. They looked it up and my SE does not have sport, nor could they find that it was an option when compared to the CM S.

So, no paddle shift for me!

I want to Retrofit the Paddle shifters on my 1.5lt 2018 Automatic Transmission CountryMan F60.
What does i need to do to make it happen?.
Can i change my steering wheel to the one with the paddle shifters & do a coding to make it work?.
Do I need to make any other modifications/cabling additionally?.
