My new Electric Blue baby

Hi, everyone. Just want to introduce my new Electric Blue baby with JCW aero package. I just happened to be at the dealership waiting on my `14 Hardtop to be serviced, when they were taking this badboy off the truck. It was love at first sight. This pic is the one the dealer took. I will post better ones on Thursday after the windows are tinted and the sport stripes are added. I'm so happy they brought this color back

There was one other poster that had one, I think in the UK. I assume the OP is not in the US because I don't think the JCW Aero kit has come here yet. It look good, but I'm biased toward mine. I think the lower front grille is a little busy.

I'm in Charlotte, NC. It was the first and only one our dealership here has gotten in, both the color and the kit. So, yes, they are starting to trickle out here in the US.

The photos, definitely, do not do the color justice. It is very bright. The car, practically, glows in my dark garage, lol.

You know, I've had Electric Blue and currently have Laser Blue. This F56 looks more like my R56 Laser Blue instead of the R53's Electric Blue. But, either way, I think it looks great!

Nice! Is this the same color as the advertised 4 door hardtops? I didn't like that one, but yours looks nice.

Great looking car and color! Those wheels look cool also, haven't seen them before. Are they 17" or 18"? Looking forward to more pictures.

Yes, 17" Track Spoke, which is part of the JCW body kit! They look awesome, as does the new ride! It will look even sweeter once the shipping blocks are removed and the PDI is completed. I absolutely LOVE that it has the roof in body color! Congrats!

More pics soon, I hope!

I'm trying to comprehend BMW/MINI marketing. Why not offer the 17" Black Track Spokes apart from the JCW body kit? They're nice.

Nice. This is the color my wife is looking at for her MCS. It'll be a contrast to my TG.

Did you just say that you were having your '14 Hardtop serviced when you saw this beauty? Like 2014? Hmm, I had an A3 TDI for 6 weeks once before trading up - so I am staying away from dealerships in case the same thing happens again!

Yep that's dangerous territory. I remember more than a couple people in for service when they saw a new model (Coupes for one) who ended up coming home in a new car. The other reason is the "loaner trick" where the service advisor gives you a nice new loaner and the MA shows up when you come back to ask you how you liked it. They conveniently have your older car all appraised.

Did not think 17" track spokes would look that good in black , but they fit with the JCW body kit, lower the car a but for the wheel gap with H&R or KW's and you are looking really good.

Yep, lol, it was a 2014 with not even 1200 miles on it. It had a backup camera and heated seats, both of which the new one doesn't have and I don't really miss them. It was, also, an automatic. The new one has comfort assist, I think its called, where you can unlock the door with the fob in your pocket. I really like that. And, it's a manual, which I love. Both have upgraded sounded, which was a must, and MINI connect.
