JCW All Weather Floor Mats

Hey all, I've been a long time lurker, and my Justa arrives at port today!

I was wondering of anyone here has seen the JCW all weather mats in real life. I think that they would go nicely with the Dark Silver and Glowing Red interiors. My only concern is that it looks pretty slick in some of the pictures. Being in Florida, it rains a fair bit, so I'd want something grippy not slippy.

I've used Cocomats (real ones, not knockoffs) for years. I have the black/red dots in my Eclipse Gray JCW coupe and they look great. They wear forever. And they are cut to fit the exact dimensions of your car (they have measured the F56 too). Check it out.

Thanks! I'll check them out. Anyone else have any opinions on the JCW mats?

Update!

I contacted Sewell Parts and asked about the floor mats, they said they were surprisingly grippy. They came in today! They are in fact extremely grippy, almost to the point that I want to call them sticky (not that they feel like a movie theatre floor or anything). I'd say that when cleaning them, clapping them together wouldn't cut it. Probably have to spray them down.

They look pretty nice (although, they are less contrasty than the original pictures look on the site)

If anyone wants me to post some close ups, or show the different mats, just let me know.

Pretty nice? They look great with your red line accents in the dash!

I agree, looks great with the red accents.

I have a question for you. Obviously you got the JCW interior package. On the configurator it lists and shows the red stitching on the shifter and boot as part of that package. Were you given any reason why those do not have the red stitching?

I plan on getting some also. My car is Blazing Red and I've also go the red interior line accents and think the JCW floor mats really make the interior pop.

I'm hoping to get my car around the weekend of 7/26-7/27 so am getting anxious

Ah! Interesting story. I noticed that shortly after taking delivery of the car. I asked my MA and it was explained to me that the configurator is often wrong and I was basically at the whim of Mini. (just looking at my Dark Silver dash is another good example, granted, I think it looks better in reality).

This didn't fly with me and I explained that every piece of evidence I can find (Mini's site, other photos I found, even the breakdown sheet that was printed at the dealership) says that it's included. He finally agreed, and now he's trying to order it from the parts dept and will install it for free.

We'll see how it goes.

Thank you so much for that info. I had that on my list of questions for my MA and plan to do exactly the same thing if it's not on the car (which seems likely). He said everything would be included so if it's not, "oh the configurator isn't always right" doesn't really fly after the fact.

Good luck. I hope the parts pursuit and install go well.

Did you check out the Cocomats in the red dots? My interior is very much like yours and IMO the Cocomats do it way more justice than those floormats. The pattern is a bit distracting to me.
And BTW the red stitching in the JCW shift boot is not very noticable as it is with the steering wheel, if that's any consolation.

I did, they looked really cool! I've just always had rubber floor mats in all of my cars. Not to mention I kinda liked the looks of the JCW mats.

I hear you on the JCW shift boot. I kinda feel like I paid for it already, so I'm going to make a little noise till I get it!

I concur with comments about coco mats, have used them in my cars for forty years.I like no carpet cleaning, and no scuff marks that are normally found on rubber mats. Q

Update on JCW Automatic Shifter: My MA called and explained that after having the parts department do some research, they found out that the shifter is only available in the sports transmission with paddle shifters. There is something about the wiring that isn't compatible with the non-sports transmission. He apologized for the mix up and is sending me a $250 voucher for my troubles. Not the ideal solution, but now we know.

Bummer - good to know though so that settles that. That's great of your dealer to give a $ voucher. Maybe I'll try to finagle a red-trim boot -- or maybe just let it go. We'll see. Of course we pay the same for the package regardless of our transmission so perhaps some compensation really is in order.

Do you have an official Mini part # for the JCW floor mats? My dealer didn't think they were available yet and doesn't have them listed on his website

The F56 JCW Pro floormats are pretty cool. Its nice they have the same patterns in carpet as well as rubber and the rubber ones are easy to clean. The colors are more vibrant then previous the F56 in my option. The Speedwell Blue looks to be very classic Mini.

Click the links to see the part numbers and parts.

We have more here; There are the All weather versions ( rubberized ) and the carpeted version of each.

The door sills on TheRocketPig's car are the ones that come on the car when you spec the JCW Interior Package, you could probably find them on RealOEM.
