F55/F56 F56 Picture Thread
Car came yesterday, cocomats came today. What timing! Don't know where the thread is but I've experienced the computer gremlins already. Went out to the store. Shut down, go in, come out, start up - all my presets are gone. Radio, instrument cluster, satellite and who knows what all. I was the only one in the car, only one key used.

And when you say only one key used, was the other key anywhere inside your car when you initially set everything up? Because the same thing happened to me. My MA and I set things up while we were waiting for the paperwork to be done. And unfortunately, we had both keys laying in the car. And if you read the manual, the settings assigned to a key fob are only activated when the car is unlocked using that fob. For me, I brought the car home and parked in my garage; did NOT lock it. Next morning, drove to work and everything was fine. Locked my car at work. When I unlocked it to head home for lunch, all my settings were gone, because the key fob I used was not the one that retained the settings.
Thanks! Yeah, we talked about you when I picked up the car and how I ran down there to see your seats before you even got to see them. One of the MAs wanted to see them too but your car was gone by the time he got there. I still really appreciate that, by the way.
Ya know, that could very well be. I've gone back and forth between the keys because one is attached to a purse but I just stuck one in my pocket to fiddle in the garage. I might have the keys mixed up. I'll give it a go tomorrow with setting up with my key and my key alone.
It's very "costly" to drive: I wanted to drive somewhere - anywhere - and ended up at The Container Store. A nice cross-town drive, but I can't end up there and not come out with stuff. Next time I'll have to go in search of a nice non-commercial country road.

I'm excited for you! We waited so long, I was actually nervous driving to the dealer (what if something is wrong, what if something's missing, what if the seats are too tight, etc, etc.) That's a long way to go, but you'll have a blast coming home! Can't wait to hear about it!
