My mini visor is broken

Well just a little lol. The little clip that holds the mirror cover on the visor broke. I brought it to my dealers attention quietly at the launch event yesterday...He quietly wrote up a warrantee and ordered a new visor. Timing is everything my friends lol.

You're not alone. My passenger side mirror clip arrived broken from the ship. It is going to be replaced under warranty as well.

My 2011 had a recall on both visors a year or so, I guess they didn't learn anything.

Better than a clutch problem. I will be happy if that is the end of the recalls!!

Guess they didn't change the cheap visors. I glued off both of those covers long ago.

I was looking at a new f56 at the dealer yesterday in Southern California and it already had the drivers mirror clip broken. I really like the car but that is definitely a quality issue. It's cheaply made!

they are designed to break easily during crash instead of jabbing the visor into your eye socket :(

between the wife and myself we break at least one of the two hooks on all Audi and VW cars we've ever owned. Great if they are covered by warranty but they should be cheap to replace at the same time. I Recently bought a pair for my Audi Q5 and paid about $80/pc. Complete rip off!

Maybe this will be a part that they will improve on the next model year. Fortunately no problem with mine.

Just superglue the flip cover over the mirror/light to its plastic casing. Or have the dealer give you a stack of them and keep them in the secret compartment. Then tell your wife when she has lipstick on here teeth lol.

Mine broke on the passenger side as well. Just opened the vanity mirror and pop! The dealer is going to replace it tomorrow.
