F55/F56 F56 Reliability Thread
Thanks for the heads-up.
Now 2100 miles and no pending issue at this time.
Previously a TPMS error came up and recalibration at the dash was required to clear up.
Since then, so far so good!
Yes, you are lucky!
I got pulled over and got a ticket in CA for a front license plate related issue.
Yes, I did have a license plate on the front bumper, but I had installed a "CLEAR" plexiglass cover over the plate to keep it clean from road debris, bugs, etc. The cop said that's violation of vehicle code in CA.

After 4 weeks and 2000km:
1) I found scratches/marks on the hood which seems to be in the clear coats. My dealership tried to fix it (buffing, claybar,…) but It didn’t do much, so they will repaint the hood under warranty.
2) The windshield washer nozzle leaked (drive side). They will also fix this issue…
3) I found a lot of small scratches in the back side windows (driver/passenger). They will replace both windows under warranty.
4) When I tried to turn OFF the car, the starting switch was not responding and the car would not turn OFF. After 3-4 tries, it finally turned OFF. This happened a few times since I have the car but It’s not reproducible it just happens now and then.
5) When I started the car this morning, after a few seconds, the engine stalled. I started it again and everything was ok… This is the first time it happens.
Besides these few little issues, the car is really amazing! I really enjoy driving it.

[QUOTE=MINIwuff;3978661]Currently, the 17" Black Cosmos alloy wheel option is on hold, meaning that you are unable to order a 2015 MINI with this wheel as it is in short (or possibly non-existent) supply. Hopefully they are able to locate one for you soon!
No good news to be had here. Still waiting for a wheel. No projected delivery date. Car is still sitting on the dealer's back lot. This is my 1st Mini, so not super impressed so far. Owned for a little over 2 months and has already set the record for longest time in the shop of any other car I've owned over the last 25 years.

Anyone want to jump the fence at Brunswick to see?

If you want the ° symbol, hold down the ALT key and hit the numbers 0176.
(Not that it adds to the conversation, but I'm amazed at how often this comes in handy! I've got a whole list of these symbol "recipes.")
I also had this happen this weekend ... Both times it happened, I was in green mode, and made a mental note to watch when/how often this happens. Have only had the car two weeks. It was also like 44*/110* this weekend, so I was hoping it was an odd thing, because the car was being cranky in the heat.

This actually happens more than people realize, where the "take rate" of an option exceeds the prediction and/or supply. MINI thinks the take rate on that wheel will be low, so more of another finish or style is made and then they run low (like with the H/K sound system for 2014 models). So at last minute, MINI puts a freeze or restriction on the item and then gathers all the remaining supply to be able to fill existing or in process orders to upset the least amount of orders/vehicles.
While your vehicle received the correct wheels, someone in Indiana may not have been able to select them when placing their order.
Sounds like maybe your car got skipped over. That's horrible.
Rather promising news that none has posted to this thread in months....
Unfortunately my turn:
"Lafayette" was spewing some error codes today. Over 4400km of great motoring up to this point.
Chassis stabilization - ABS, traction control AND TPMS! All at the same time. Surely must be some computer glitch. Calling into dealership tomorrow.

I left mine over 5 days while we were home for Thanksgiving, when I got back and started it up I got a message saying "Drivetrain malfunction, full drivetrain output not available. Please drive moderately."
No clue what it means, the car seems to drive fine, but I'll be calling the service department today.

Hah! They're babies! I sold my previous one at 103,000 miles, and went to 17 states plus the District of Columbia. The new one has about 4000 miles on it, including one 700 mile trip and one 2000 mile trip (6 states). Not to mention the "routine" drives in the 100 to 200 mile range.

I spoke with a friend who's a service manager, he said it's a new catch all code for "reduced power CEL." Whatever the issue was, it's been gone for 3 days so I cancelled the appointment for now. I suspect it might have had something to do with the fact that I filled the car up with a full tank of fresh gas and then it sat for 5 days. Might have been something in the gas.
> 9000+ miles in 5 months.
> 2 Engine Oil changes.
> 1 TPMS error requiring recalibration when weather got cooler.
> 37 MPG (average) in 70-mile daily Los Angeles commute.
So far very satisfied!
Feel very lucky that I didn't buy a hybrid which I was heavily considering.
Enjoying my first MINI very much - great fuel economy when leisurely driving and enoguh power when spiritedly driving.
