F55/F56 Tire Rubbing Solution
Tire Rubbing Solution
Hi all, I recently put NM Engineering RSe05 wheels with 215 wide PS4S tires on my car, and when hard cornering and going over big bumps or potholes, the tires rub on the metal fender in the front. The car is lowered on ST X coilovers, with no camber adjustment from stock as they reuse the OEM top hat. I have raised the car about an inch from where it originally was when the wheels and tires were put on. It seems to me that adding negative camber to the front would solve the issue, but I don't know how to go about doing it. From my research, there are 3 options:
1. Camber Plates
2. Camber adjusting lower control arm bushings
3. New coilovers with built in camber plates (Leaning towards BCs)
The most cost effective solution is the bushings, but my concern is that they won't give me enough adjustment. They only add -0.75 degree of camber. I wanted to see what everyone else thinks the best option here is. Or, maybe there's another option other than adjusting camber that I'm not thinking of. Thanks in advance!

Spacers can gain some room if removed. Also how much the car is lowered and how soft you have the dampening can affect the rubbing over bumps. Other then that its going to a 205 tire.
