F54 ESys Programming Verification/Help With Steps
ESys Programming Verification/Help With Steps
Hello everyone,
Just popping in this section to ask if there's anyone who could verify and/or code 2TB Sport Transmission to my F54.
What I mean by verify is, I attempted programming on my own. I THINK I did it correctly, as 2TB shows in Salapa Element and I THINK I feel a difference. I THINK I coded it to EGS and Kombi correctly. There were no errors reported by ESys or by the car afterward.
But I have no actual idea if I did it right, and I'm hoping there might be a way I could have someone take a look just to be sure. I know there are people on here who will do ESys programming for you for a small fee, which I would be willing to pay if I did it incorrectly. I never really want to touch that godforsaken program again, and will likely pay someone to do the programming if I decide to go through with the digital dash swap.
Either that, or if someone could provide me with info on the known good versions of ESys and Psdzdata for doing the 2TB and Digital Cluster Swap that would be fantastic. I think I may have an outdated version of Psdzdata running with a newer version of ESys, as my ESys is 3.3X.XX but Psdzdata I believe was giving me late 2020 vehicle selection options. Some stuff in the programming actions didn't show up as I expected it to from videos, so I'm mildly concerned, but this might just be because it's a Mini and not a BMW. There are at least two decent videos out there on how to program the cluster, so that process shouldn't be an issue as long as I have the right versions of stuff.
Speaking of process, if anyone could describe in detail the exact steps for coding in 2TB on a Mini, that would help significantly as well. The only instructions relating to Mini out there gesture vaguely at EGS, 2TB in the Salapa Element, and that's about it. When I programmed it, I piecemealed it together from what I could glean on Mini forums and a host of BMW ESys videos. If I could get all this info, I would be willing to give it another go on my own, and it could be useful for others in the future.

easiest way to know if you coded correctly is to use launch control which is part of 2TB.
Put car into Sports mode, Put shifter into Sports+, put traction into Dynamic, slam brake, slam gas, you should see a launch control notification on your speedo cluster.
