Decided to come on here & see if I can out a few of you since I wasn’t able to find any clear help. But yes the average DIYer can do this job in their garage. The removal of the battery tray, battery & computer is needed to create room to work, on the bottom you have just have to loosen the subframe bolts a bit, loosen the control arm bracket bolts & remove one end of the sway bar link to create enough room to remove the transmission mount. Removal of the driver side fender liner & wheel obviously helped. You may need to pry the transmission down a bit to creat that little extra room but just know it can be done as I’m just finishing up the mounts on this JCW.
