Maintenance Question

Good Morning,

I have a 2015 F56 automatic and currently I have the oil changed and tires rotated every 5K miles. I have the air filter and micro cabin filter changed every 10K miles. I have the brake fluid changed every 30K miles and the spark plugs changed at 60K miles.

My question is how often should the following items be changed and are there any items that I am missing:
Automatic transmission fluid
Radiator flush
??

Thank you,
Bob

probably check the motor mounts. The top mount tends to let loose.

MINI says the ATF is lifetime, HA!!
60K drain and fill, its 3 liters.

Coolant? From my observation with BMWs, also Toyota, coolant seems to hold up way past 100K.
Gone are the days of cast iron block, in which rust was your enemy.
But I would do a drain and refill at 60K, just use the coolant recommended by MIN, it has the correct additives for that engine.

You should also be consulting the built-in CBS. For example, my F57 specified that the spark plugs be changed around 30,000 miles.

If the computer says to change plugs at 30k then MINI pays(?)

Not for me, I was beyond the 36 months of free maintenance. If you hit a maintenance item like that within the free maintenance period, not sure if MINI would pay (because I’m not sure if MINI covers spark plugs). I changed them myself in about 15 minutes in total.

Used to be everything under 36K with the 2 Gen. My R56 got brakes, wipers, and plugs. No more.
