A/C Blend Door Actuator challenge 2014 Mini Cooper 2 door
Hi all
I noticed the AC was only blowing cold air on the passenger's side in my Mini Cooper 2014. I did some research and it seemed it was the blend door actuator.
I removed the existing actuator, and moved the blend door manually, and it does work as expected...hot when I turn it one way, cold when I turn it the other way.
So I ordered a new actuator, but when I plug it in, it does not rotate (the old one rotated, no problem). I thought it was a bad part so I got another one. Same issue. The actuator part does not move regardless if I adjust the temperature high or low.
I cannot figure out what to try next. Does the actuator need to be reset or calibrated for it to start responding?
Thank you
