Damnit. That makes me want it more!

Texted my MA at the dealership. They are just as surprised as me. They're ordering me one so I don't have to pay for it :-)

Its probably mine shown there, ECS does an "inspection", but they really use the first one in to photograph for their website!!!
Its not the first time with me.
Im OK with that ECS!!!
A quick note, dont try to remove the caps.
They are partially installed.
Push the visor into the holes until you hear it lock.
The using 2 thumbs, seat the caps, the caps have the locks in it to keep
the spring clip from loosening.

 

Congrats! Can't wait to get mine... I've just stopped thinking about this mod for a while so as to not obsess over when it will arrive... but I suppose September is getting closer...

 

Awesome with that September quote time. I just placed the order from ECS and it shows a quote time of November.

I reached out to a local MINI parts department and was told that they can place the order... a few minutes later I got a callback saying the part is not available to order from US based MINI dealerships.

A big thank you to ECS for being able to order UK MINI parts.

Now the wait till November begins : )

I think it was 4 months for me!!

Yes, ECS can get EU parts, but its a wait during these times.
They were the first to get me EU (amber) taillights!

 

Maybe “awesome” should have been used instead of “lucky”

Would you be able to attach a picture of your MINI with the EU taillights installed? I was thinking about purchasing them.

They look the same, just amber turn signals.
Maybe you thought UK?

 

Mine also arrived but I not home and haven’t even seen it yet. But I’ll keep the installation tip in mind.

 

After waiting since I ordered my passenger side visor on May 18th my passenger side sun visor finally arrived today... November 26th (black Friday in the USA) and I was able to get the passenger grab handle off and the sun visor on in about 10 minutes...It was dark outside when I got home to find the box on my doorstep and it took a bit of trial and error to get the handle off but the visor was super easy to snap into place... THANK YOU to ESC Tuning for keeping me updated through all of the logistical and shipping issues/delays... whenever I was about to give up hope ECS would send me a friendly e-mail update to let me know they had not forgotten my order... :-)

Also ECS are the only ones able to order EU parts!!!
So the wait is inevitable.
But they do arrive.

 

I actually started this thread and never got back to say I received the part from ECS and installed it. It is a great addition to the car. My wife really appreciates having it. It took a few months to get, but ECS did get it for me, which is all I can ask.

I have the euro taillights for my R52. Had the euro cubby also.

 

One of these days I will have to make a day trip over to ECS Tuning from my home port of Upper Sandusky via US 30…

 

Last week I received my passenger sun visor from @ECSTuning, will install it later this week and will post some pictures

I want to thank them for great customer service, keeping me updated about the order status and grateful they can order the UK parts

The side visor is absolutely better than the grab handle.
The grab handle is easy too high to be used in a MINI, where the seats are so low.

Even though it took 3 months to arrive, ECS made sure to send status emails, so I knew the order didn't fall through the cracks.
Now can we het ECS to also open in the west coast, so I can get my stuff even faster!!

 

Installed today and it’s just right. I never really liked the grab handle and it felt out of place

Purchased July ‘21 but well worth the wait

My visor arrived on the promised day. I'm ready to put it on. What's the easy way to remove the handle?

 

I hate to admit it but I had the dealer do it for me. They charged me $50. I tried to remove the grab handle, but I really didn't have the proper tools. For me, piece of mine is important. But good luck.
