I will see what's going on but we have some delays in boat shipments due to the port back up on the west coast.

 

I got the same delay message on my visor. Hope it gets here eventually.

 

So I would also be interested in adding a side visor to the passenger side of my 2016 F56 (USA left hand drive) A side sun visor would be far more useful than that handle which never gets used. Also... does anyone know if the headliner grab/pull handle and the sun visor for the right (passenger) side both snap into the same holes in the headliner or are they completely different? Does Mini/BMW just have one headliner for all models with the same sets of two holes on both the driver and passenger sides and just snaps in either a handle or a side visor depending on which side the driver is on or do they have two mirrored versions of the headliner with non-symmetrical holes/clips on either side?

EDIT: I figured out the answer to my own question that the attachments for the visors and handles are the same and interchangeable (which coming from BMW is shocking...) so I went ahead and ordered from ECS... between ECS and OutMotoring I have practically modded and retrofitted an entirely new F56 at this point... LOL

 

Wouldn't German parts come to the East Coast??

 

I replaced the passenger grab handle in my (USA) '19 JCW. The visor fits in the same spot. I had the dealer installed it because I wasn't comfortable removing the connectors.

 

That's better than me. Mine slipped to June 29.

What's confusing me, is in the status of my order, it says "If Ordered Now, Ships May 17, 2021". That's like, ships right now if I cancelled and then re-ordered ?

if you go to the item it says September.

 

technically the drivers visor will work.
but for the sake of being accurate the british
drivers side is a mirror of the us drivers side.

 

Sometimes they come to the west coast, most come though the east coast, Just heard one of the ports fedex uses is backed up in NJ as they have an embargo for freight. I am seeing what else is going on, shipping from overseas has been a little crazy. At the ports they are backed up and they need workers and cant find people to work. Hang tight guys, i have to dig into this more.

Does anyone have a part number for the driver-side British side visor?

 

This is the part I ordered from ECS Tuning. It says it is specifically for vehicles with the panoramic sunroof (I guess the non-panoramic F56 MINIs have a slightly different sized/shaped side sun visors?) https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...167376860~gem/ The site indicates the parts are delayed until September but if this is not some sort of life-threatening emergency and you want the part waiting is part of the game these days...

For some reason, my '22 JCW F56 Iconic with Pano roof, - did not come with the driver's side visor. Is that a new thing?

 

Ive seen posts about that starting with LCI models.

 

Damn. Oh well. I did get the HK system just before the microchip shortage so I'll consider myself lucky.
