New F56 Owner/First "Is This Normal?" Windshield Trim Question
Hi all - just got my first Mini a couple of weeks ago, a 2021 Cooper S Hardtop. Love the car so far.
I was cleaning leaves out of the windshield area and noticed the bottom of the passenger (LHD spec) windshield glass seems rather...unfinished. Probably 'normal' but was hoping to get some other F56 owners to confirm if their's looks the same. Pic attached. Thanks in advance!

My passenger side looks just like the driver side. Well, just the mirror reversed.
Maybe, you could drive over to your dealer, and check another Cooper Hardtop in their lot. If yours is indeed different, while there, show the difference to someone at the dealer (salesperson, sales manager, service manager).

Meaning the trim covers the entirety of the lower windshield glass?

I think it’s supposed to be like that. I had to replace my brand new Coopers windshield and I had though it was weird also. I asked for photos and the person from a Facebook group had the same gaps.
Walt, agreed mine looks to have slightly more glass exposed, although some of that may be the angle. Either way this falls into “close enough” for me .
